Power of the Purse 2026

We are grateful to everyone who joined us on May 29th, 2026, at The Club at Pecan Grove.

Guests enjoyed nine rounds of bingo for the chance to win designer purses, along with two raffle opportunities to take home additional purses. Attendees also captured memories at the photo booth, enjoyed drinks and a delicious dinner, and spent the evening connecting with friends and fellow supporters. The event brought the community together for a fun-filled night of entertainment and giving.

Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, and donors, we raised a total of $50,618.34 to support OakBend Medical Center’s mission of providing exceptional, compassionate healthcare for our community, regardless of ability to pay.

Top Purse Winners

Bingo was a highlight of the evening, featuring a stunning collection of handbags generously donated by members of our community. Guests enjoyed an evening of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition as they played for the chance to win beautiful designer purses while supporting OakBend’s mission.

We extend our thanks to Kay Danziger, Abby King, Susan Carruth, Tama Dorman, Lela Smith, Megan Hilliard, Niki Lassiter, Laura Freudenberger, Leah McDaniel, and Alexis Bauer for their generous purse donations, which helped make the event a tremendous success. Raffle Winners

Congratulations to both of our raffle winners! Guests had the opportunity to test their luck through our popular “Purse-ue Your Luck” raffle, where participants drew a card and paid the corresponding amount for their chance to win.

We also hosted a free Social Media Raffle, giving attendees the opportunity to enter simply by following OakBend Medical Center on social media. Each platform followed earned an additional entry, creating even more chances to win.
