As OakBend Medical Center’s largest annual fundraising event, Patchwork of Life symbolizes the collective efforts of the Fort Bend and Wharton counties community and our dedicated staff. This meaningful tradition features the creation of a beautiful quilt made from the sales of personalized quilt squares, each one representing a heartfelt donation in support of our hospital.
Since its inception in 2013, Patchwork has flourished thanks to the immense generosity shown through donations, sponsorships, quilt square purchases, and live auction bidding. Your continued support has made Patchwork a beloved tradition and a highlight of our community year after year.
Funds raised are thoughtfully allocated across multiple departments based on their specific needs, ensuring that every dollar directly enhances patient care and hospital services. As an independent, nonprofit facility, OakBend Medical Center relies on the support of individual donors, corporations, and foundations to continue its mission.
