About Me

Dr. Daniel Mendoza Requena is a board-certified infectious disease specialist with a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University in 2000, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama Medical Center. He completed prestigious fellowships in Infectious Disease and Clinical Research at the NIH Clinical Center, where he also held a post-doctoral research position. Dr. Mendoza Requena further advanced his expertise with a Ph.D. in Clinical Investigation from Baylor College of Medicine. A compassionate and thoughtful clinician, he is dedicated to advancing infection prevention and treatment through science, education, and personalized care. He is a member of IDSA, AMA, and other leading medical organizations.
