About Me

Dr. David C. Chao is a board-certified pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine specialist with over three decades of clinical experience. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University before pursuing his M.D. at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in critical care medicine at USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center. Dr. Chao is certified in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. A Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, he is fluent in Chinese and dedicated to delivering compassionate care to patients with respiratory and sleep-related conditions.
