About Me

Dr. J. Michael Bennett is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist serving the Austin and Hill Country areas. With a strong background in arthroscopy and sports-related injuries, he has served as team physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Hurricanes, and other collegiate teams. Dr. Bennett specializes in treating shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders, as well as ligament reconstruction and cartilage restoration. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Doctor® and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Actively involved in education, innovation, and research, he also serves on national boards and mentors startups in medical technology.
