Rios, Cynthia I

Dr. Rios provides the full range of preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services in gynecology and obstetrics. Dr. Rios graduated from the University of St. Thomas as a Biology major with a minor in Theology. Dr. Rios then attended  medical school at the University of Texas at Houston. It was during her medical school rotations that she discovered that her true calling was in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rios then attended Texas Tech University for her residency position. During her residency, she received various awards such as Intern of the Year, Best Resident Teacher and Residents Choice Award – a peer-elected award given to the most outstanding physician. She also placed first at the 2010 Resident Research Day and had an article published in the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology.
