Dr. Akin began his medical training at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating in 1998. He went on to complete a five‑year Diagnostic Radiology residency at Brookwood Baptist Health from 1998 to 2003, building a strong foundation in imaging and patient care. He is board‑certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, reflecting his commitment to excellence and professional expertise.
