Wharton Hospital Campus

OakBend Medical Center’s Wharton Hospital Campus is home to our signature No Wait Emergency Room and hospital services that provide excellent care to our community. When necessary, our air ambulance has transfer agreements in place with several Texas Medical Center hospitals for the care of severely injured trauma patients and pediatric patients. As the last remaining independent nonprofit hospital in the Greater Houston Area, our mission is to provide exceptional, compassionate health care for our community, regardless of ability to pay. Our commitment extends beyond our hospital doors as we partner with Wharton and surrounding areas to ensure a healthy future for generations to come.
