Dr. John Sunew is a triple board-certified cardiologist in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology, practicing at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, Cypress, and Fulshear, Texas. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at George Washington University. He later trained in interventional cardiology at Northwestern University. Before relocating to Texas, he served in leadership roles within the Inova Health System in Virginia and taught at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Sunew specializes in advanced cardiac procedures, offering expert care in coronary angioplasty, peripheral vascular treatment, and non-invasive imaging techniques.
