Dr. Michael Byrd earned his medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta in 2000. He completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic’s Head & Neck Institute in Cleveland in 2006. During his residency, Dr. Byrd was honored with the Cleveland Clinic Innovator Award and the Bruce Hubbard Steward Award for his ability to combine sensitivity and compassion with knowledge and skill in the practice of medicine.
Board certified in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery), Dr. Byrd cares for pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. He treats thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland diseases, laryngeal disorders, ear infections, tonsil and adenoid diseases as well as conditions of the nose and paranasal sinuses. Dr. Byrd has a subspecialty interest in ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions that contribute to sleep disorders, including common snoring and obstructive sleep apnea conditions.
