Bender, Melissa

Dr. Melissa Bender is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and board-certified Head and Neck Surgeon who specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face and neck. Dr. Bender grew up in Houston and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Biological Basis of Behavior and a double minor in Hispanic Studies and Chemistry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then returned to her hometown of Houston, Texas for medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. She then completed an internship and residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
